Antique Surrey Longcase clock
Small (11" high) early 19th century single fusee library clock by William Gregory from Basingstoke, Hampshire. Rosewood veneered case with brass inlay, bun feet, gadrooned top and finial. Full opening arched glazed, locking front door protecting a 3.5" x 5.5" silvered and engraved dial, with fine blued spade hands. Line fusee timepiece movement. William Gregory was working in Winchester street Basingstoke from about 1817-67.

Late Victorian 8 day fusee wall clock by John Walker, South Molton Street, London made for British rail southern region and marked 1198S.E. Oak 2 piece case, with back box and bezel secured with 4 pegs. Back box has locking bottom door and pendulum side access door. 12" white painted dial marked with Roman numerals. Blued steel spade design hands. Dial and hands protected by a cast brass glazed bezel. Line fusee movement with rectangular plates.

Unusual mid 19th century eight day fusee wall clock with alarm, by Thomas Pursall from Birmingham. 2 piece trunk dial case with chisel bottom. Locking bottom door and 2 side doors, one full length for winding the alarm. Cast brass glazed bezel protecting the original 12" diameter white painted dial. Blued steel hands with alarm disc in the centre. 8 day chain fusee movement, with verge alarm system striking on a bell. Pursall was working in Birmingham 1854-1868.

Early Victorian 8" convex drop dial fusee wall clock by Joseph Barling, 90, High Street, Maidstone, Kent. Mahogany case, bezel with slim surround and back box with nicely figured mahogany veneered drop. 8" original white painted dial, with "Handley and Moore" style hands protected by locking cast brass convex glazed bezel. Line fusee movement plates with shaped shoulders and separated by knopped pillars. Barling was working at this address around 1840.
