Superb late 18th century 8 day tavern clock by William Wallen from Wokingham, Berkshire. Standard "A" plate movement, with knopped pillars and usual wheel train. Round white painted dial with black and gilded circumference. Roman numerals with arabic 5 minute marks. Original brass hands. Full chinoiserie decoration to door with makers name below dial. Case is finely decorated with gilded lines and floral sides.

Mid Victorian 8 day fusee wall clock by an un-named maker. Two piece oak case with unusual carved apron and locking bottom door with attached bracket feature. This clock was supplied at some stage in its life to a stately home, see armorial sticker on back of case.

Original 12" white painted dial, protected by a convex glazed cast brass bezel. The finely pierced and fretted hands are made of blued steel. The "A" plated single fusee movement separated by knopped pillars.
