Mahogany 2 piece case secured by 4 pegs, the trunk profusely inlaid with brass. With locking bottom door and pendulum locating side access door. Original 12" white painted dial, protected by a convex glazed cast brass bezel. The finely pierced and fretted hands are made of blued steel. The "A" plated single fusee movement separated by knopped pillars.

Press catch opens bevelled glass front door. Locking back door. Movement by Lenzkirch, and numbered 1,462,970, dating it to 1906, strikes the hours and half hours on a coiled wire gong.
