Description: Georgian 8 day, 12" wood dial, twin fusee wall clock by Foster from London. Locking concave glazed bezel, with original flat glass protecting the wood dial, and Thwaites and Reed hands. Thwaites numbered movement, 6261, dating this clock to 1819.
Mahogany 2 piece case, secured by 4 pegs, with locking bottom door and 2 large side pendulum access doors.
Movement secured to dial via falseplate. Movement strikes the hours on a bell.
