Description: Mid 19th century mahogany cased fusee drop dial wall clock by James Trist, from Braddons Row, Torquay, Devon.
12" original painted convex dial protected by a locking cast brass bezel. Fine blued steel spade hands.
Case trunk has finely carved ears. The glazed pendulum aperture is surrounded with brass line and boxwood inlay. Trunk is radiused to the wall with locking bottom door.
Line fusee movement has shaped shouldered plates, separated by heavy knopped pillars.
