Description: Mid 19th century mahogany cased 8" trunk dial fusee wall clock by William Payne, 163, New Bond Street, London.
2 piece case the bezel and surround secured to the back box by 2 pegs. The mahogany veneered back box has locking bottom door and pendulum side access door.
The original white painted dial and blued steel hands are protected by a locking cast brass glazed bezel.
The numbered (6556) rectangular plated line fusee movement is separated by cushion shaped pillars.
Payne was working at 163, New Bond Street, 1830 to 1850.
