Description:Unusual mid 19th century eight day fusee wall clock with alarm, by Thomas Pursall from Birmingham. 2 piece trunk dial case with chisel bottom. Locking bottom door and 2 side doors, one full length for winding the alarm. Cast brass glazed bezel protecting the original 12" diameter white painted dial. Blued steel hands with alarm disc in the centre. 8 day chain fusee movement, with verge alarm system striking on a bell. Pursall was working in Birmingham 1854-1868.
