Description: Early 19th century 8 day trunk dial fusee wall clock by Linford from Chapel street, Paddington.
Mahogany and mahogany veneer case with brass inlay, and restrained early style ears. Backbox bottom radiused to the wall with locking bottom door and pendulum side access door. Case secured to bezel with 4 pegs.
Camerer Kuss repair label (from circa 1867) on case back.
12" convex dial, marked with roman numerals and the makers name above and below the centre. Blued steel moon pattern hands. Dial protected by a glazed locking cast brass bezel.
Line fusee movement with shaped shouldered plates.
