Description: William the fourth, twin fusee bracket clock by Matthew Dutton, Fleet Street, London.
Mahogany, ebony, and brass inlaid arch top case with cast brass fishscale frets to the sides. Locking brass bezel and rear door.
7" original white painted convex dial with roman numerals, and strike/silent above 12 o` clock position, signed Dutton, Fleet Street, London. (also marked on backplate) Original gilded brass moon hands.
Thwaites and Reed movement, numbered 9400, dating clock to 1835, strikes the hours on a bell. With previous hour repeat cord.
