Fusee bracket clock
Description: Small (11" high) early 19th century single fusee library clock by William Gregory from Basingstoke, Hampshire.
Rosewood veneered case with brass inlay, bun feet, gadrooned top and finial. Full opening arched glazed, locking front door protecting a 3.5" x 5.5" silvered and engraved dial, with fine blued spade hands.
Line fusee timepiece movement.
William Gregory was working in Winchester street Basingstoke from about 1817-67.
