Early Victorian 8" convex drop dial fusee wall clock by Joseph Barling, 90, High Street, Maidstone, Kent.
Mahogany case, bezel with slim surround and back box with nicely figured mahogany veneered drop.
8" original white painted dial, with "Handley and Moore" style hands protected by locking cast brass convex glazed bezel.
Line fusee movement plates with shaped shoulders and separated by knopped pillars.
Barling was working at this address around 1840.
