Description:Early 19th century mahogany cased twin fusee trunk dial wall clock by Thomas Gamage from London. 12" original white painted dial protected by a glazed locking concave bezel. 2 piece case secured by 4 pegs. Back box has locking bottom door and 2 pendulum access side doors. Early features include restrained ears and method of fixing dial to bezel. Blued steel hands. Movement strikes the hours on a bell. Rectangular plated anchor escapement, line fusee movement separated by knopped pillars. Thomas Gamage was a member of the clockmakers company 1814-1840.
