Silvered and engraved brass dial and blued steel counterbalanced hands are protected by a locking concave cast brass bezel. Rectangular plate line fusee verge movement is separated by knopped pillars. Samuel Hardy was a member of the clockmakers company, 1778-1805, he worked at Somerset street, Aldgate.
